Su Casa 2014 and 2016

Josie Gonzalez was awarded a Su-Casa arts residency to teach ceramics, and more, to the dynamic members of Castle Hill Senior Center in the Bronx. From February through June, Castle Hill seniors experimented with clay techniques and glazes, created unique clay constructions, and revealed their works in a public culminating exhibition at the center in June.

SU-CASA is a collaboration among the New York City Council, the Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), the Department for the Aging (DFTA) and the City's five local arts councils.
